Manage Videos

Undoubtedly, you’ll want to manage videos you have downloaded or recorded. KeepVid Pro offers multiple features, including deleting videos, clearing invalid videos and more, for you to manage videos with easy clicks. The following guide will introduce the detailed steps on how to take advantage of these helpful features to manage videos with KeepVid Pro.

1. How to Delete Videos

1 Start KeepVid Pro.

Start KeepVid Pro on your computer, and locate the videos you want to delete in the Download, Record or Convert section.

Now you have several options to delete videos. Check them out.

Method 1 Delete videos by clicking Trash button.

Select the video you want to delete and click the Trash icon trash at the upper left corner of the main interface, and the program will display the pop-up dialog asking for a confirmation. Click Delete to start deleting videos.

Method 2 Delete videos by clicking Trash button at upper right corner.

Move the mouse onto the video you want to delete, and you'll see a Trash icon at the upper right corner. Click the Trash icon to delete the video directly.

Method 3 Delete videos by right-clicking.

Right-click the video you want to delete, and click Delete in the drop-down menu. Then you'll see the pop-up dialog asking for confirmation. Click Delete to start deleting the video.

Method 4 Delete multiple videos as a batch.

Select the videos you want to delete (Hint: hold the Ctrl or Shift key to select multiple videos). After that, click the Trash icon trash at the upper left corner of the main interface. Then you'll see a pop-up dialog asking for a confirmation. Click Delete to start deleting videos.

Method 5 Delete all videos by right-clicking.

Right-click on one video, and choose Delete All in the drop-down menu. You'll see the pop-up dialog asking for confirmation, and you should click Delete to start deleting all the videos.

Note: Delete the original files from your computer.

When the pop-up dialog shows up, you can see the Delete Original File(s) as well at the bottom left corner. By checking this option, you can delete the original files from your computer as well when deleting the files from the list.

2. How to Clear Invalid Files

Step 1 Locate the videos in the Downloaded or Recorded section.

Start KeepVid Pro after the installation, and find the videos in the Download or Record section in the software.

Step 2 Clear invalid files

Right-click on the right panel of the software window, and choose Clear Invalid Files from the drop-down menu. Then KeepVid Pro will automatically remove the files from the list which don't have source video or audio files on your computer.

3. How to Find File Location

Step 1 Locate the videos in the Downloaded or Recorded section.

Start KeepVid Pro after the installation, and find the videos in the Download, Record or Convert section in the software.

Step 2 Open file location.

Right-click on the right panel of the software window, and choose the Open File Location. Then KeepVid Pro will open up the folder in which it saves the downloaded, recorded and converted video or audio files.

4. How to Use Quick Video Search Feature

Step 1 Find the search column.

Start KeepVid Pro after the installation. Choose the Download, Record, or Convert section in the left sidebar. Then you'll see the Search column at the upper right corner of the main interface.

Step 2 Use the searching feature.

Now type the full or a part of name of the video/audio file you want to find, and KeepVid Pro will automatically find and show the videos you need.

5. How to Rename Video/Audio Files

Step 1 Locate the video

Start KeepVid Pro, and find the video you want to rename in the Download, Record or Convert section in the left sidebar.

Step 2 Choose Rename option

Right-click the video you want to rename, and choose Rename in the drop-down menu.

Step 3 Rename the video/audio file

Now type the name of the video/audio file, and press the Enter to rename it.
